The Ballad of Purple St. James finally showed up in my mailbox today. I've been waiting eagerly to listen to this album for awhile now. So as soon as I popped it in the stereo I knew this was something different. Something I've been craving musically for too long. As I write this I'm about half way through the album, and I can honestly say that this is a gem of a record. I'd write more but I gotta dive back in. Treat yourself and pick this up.
